If managers are paid to take decisions, why so many of them escape from taking decisions?
In this article, published in June 2015 on Kapitale Umano, I analyze the importance of the competence of Decision Making, as a key element of Managerial skills. Despite its apparent importance, there is a subtle trend of moving away from taking decisions, and governance is more and more messy in many companies.
