Description:

The Government of Canada has developed, in 2015, a Leadership Model based on six key competencies, which are expected from Canada’s Public Service leaders. These are used for selection, development, performance and talent management of Canada’s executives.

Each competency is described in detail with examples of effective and ineffective behaviours, with examples for specific leadership roles Deputy Minister, Assistant Deputy Minister, Director General and Director.
